Are you influenced or are you persuaded? I have watched Christians simply be influenced by this gospel and not persuaded by it. This day and age there are so many influencers. They are everywhere social media, television, schools, and churches. Yes, they are in the church. The influencers are there to influence you to buy something or say there is a better product out there. They show you how it works, how great it is, and if you watch them long enough you become influenced to buy whatever they are selling.

The deal with influencers are once that item isn’t selling or making them popular anymore they go on to influence something else. That $40 cup you just bought, because you were influenced by someone to buy it, is now last week’s news. Influencers change constantly. Influencers or someone who has been influenced remind me of this scripture A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1:8 because they are not persuaded. If you're not persuaded by this gospel you will be double-minded.

We as Christians are to be persuaded that God is who He says He is. That the Word of God is true. Being persuaded is not doubting or wavering in what you believe. We are not to be tossed to and fro, carried about with every wind of doctrine. (Ephesians 4:14). We must be careful not to be influenced by the wrong people who call themselves Christians. Not every so-called revival or every new thing is of God. God changes not, His word changes not. What was wrong back then is still wrong today. You must be persuaded by that! You must be persuaded that the stories and the people you read about in the Bible are relevant today. That every word in there is for you today. If he says He is a healer then He is a healer.

If He says He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Then He will reward you if you truly seek Him. If He says you have been made more than a conqueror. Then you have been made more than a conquer. When trials come and they will come if you are not persuaded you will start doubting and wavering in who God is and what you believe. You will be like that person who was influenced. You will start looking for different answers or the next thing that worked for someone else instead of believing and waiting on God. I encourage you today to become fully persuaded in God. Don’t just be influenced, become persuaded where NOTHING will move you away from God and what He said.

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. Romans 4:20-21
